Looking for any information that you might have on my 3rd G Grandfather James BRODIE DOB 14 October 1798 from Lochwinnoch, Renfrewshire, Scotland (son of Robert & Margaret BRODIE). James wife was Margerat BRODIE born about 1800 also from Scotland (daughter of Hugh & Elizabeth BRODIE).
The above James had 2 other siblings born in Scotland whose names were Robert & David BRODIE.
The children of James & Margaret BRODIE are the following from oldest to youngest:
1) Robert W. BRODIE DOB 19 Oct 1820 (born in Kilbirnie, Ayrshire, Scoltand - my 2nd G Grandfather) 1st wife - Lucetta L BARNEY & 2nd wife - Christia A Davidson;
2) Margaret BRODIE DOB 25 Dec 1823 married to George Maxon BURDICK;
3) Elizabeth BRODIE DOB 28 Jul 1824 married Alexander Faird;
4) James BRODIE DOB 12 Jun 1826 DOD Nov 1850;
5) Hugh BRODIE DOB abt 1830 wife was ANNIE JONAS of Ontario, Canada;
6) David BRODIE DOB 30 Feb 1835 wife was Maria Jane HUGGINS;
7) John BRODIE DOB 28 Jul 1838 DOD Jan 1871;
8) William BRODIE DOB 25 Dec 1840;
9) Alexander BRODIE DOB 28 Aug 1842 wife was to Martha Ellsworth
