I have done a bit of checking of cemetery transcriptions and census records for the London area. I have found several Murdoch Brodies.
The one in the Murray Cemetery in Ekfrid township, Middlesex County is obviously not relevant, as he died at the age of 11 months on March 11, 1863.
There is another Murdoch Brodie, son of Robert Brodie of Ekfrid township, who shows up in both the 1851/2 and 1861 censuses. He was born about 1851. I haven't traced him farther on yet, as this is a collateral branch to my own ancestors.
