I think we are on the same family here Irish Jim - - just different forks. Here is what I have on "Mr. Horan":
From a letter dated 1966, from Cele Broderick:
"Thomas Broderick had two daughter: Bridget and Johanna. He had 5 sons: John, William, Michael, Thomas and Patrick.

JOHANNA MARRIED A MR. HORAN - - WHO WAS IN THE ENGLISH ARMY, BUT THEY REMAINED IN IRELAND.
I also looked at the 1901 census of County Limerick and found:
* Johanna Horan - age 74 (b. 1827) - widow, lived in the townland of Knocknasnaa.
* Marriage record of County Limerick: Cornelius Horan md. Johanna Broder 8 Mar 1859, in Abbeyfeale Parish.

To finish the first part - -
Bridget came to America and married a Mr. Fitzgerald, and lived in Salamanca, New York. Brothers John, William and Tom lived in Salamanca, NY and Hormel, New York. Mike came to US but returned to Ireland and died there.
