Hello. I don't know if we connect but I am the ggranddaughter of Margaret Brogan Broderick who was married to John Broderick of County Clare, Ireland. Reference has been made by members of the family to "Uncle" John Broderick of Broderick and Bascom. I think this John was actually a cousin, not an real uncle. Subsequent research places the Brodericks in Ireland at Cappabaun/Cappabane (spelling varies). If I am correct, your Brodericks still live in the St. Louis area. Try the St. Louis Genealogical Society and the on line obituary index (St. Louis Post Dispatch/Globe-Democrat) from the St. Louis City Library. The obituaries have helped me. Good luck.
