I don't think my Brodes are closely related to yours, because I have a Christian and Rebeca Brode born in 1827 in Germany coming to Tamaqua, Schuylkill county PA sometime before the birth of their first son, George Franklin Brode in 1854. And I have no idea who were the parents of Christian Brode and Rebeca (of unknown maiden name). :( But it is possible that our Brodes are distantly related to each other back in Germany.
