February 2007, Cape Gazette, Delaware Douglas W. Brockway, 64, of Lewes, died of cancer at home surrounded by his loving family, Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007. He was a retired insurance broker for Metropolitan for more than 40 years and owned and operated T-Tops for Boats in Lewes. Doug enjoyed his family and grandchildren as well as fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard, and his son, Douglas Brockway. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Brockway Williams; a daughter, Missy Walls and her husband, John; two sons, Matthew and Jeremy Brockway; a brother, the Rev. Richard Brockway and his wife, Donya; three grandchildren, Sarah, Zacariah and Jedediah; his special friend, June Betts; and many cousins and friends. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 27, at the Long Neck chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Long Neck Road, Millsboro. Interment will be in Henlopen Memorial Park Cemetery near Milton. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Doug’s name to the Long Island Teen Challenge, P.O. Box 1155, West Babylon, NY 11704. What is his line?
