Arthur Andries
MEDIAPOLIS - Arthur Andries, 56, Rt. 1, Mediapolis, died Saturday, June 2, at Burlington Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 18, 1927, in Des Moines County, the son of Carl and Mildred York Andries. He married Marian Brockway, Nov. 21, 1948, in Des Moines County.
He was a farmer.
Surviving: His wife, his mother, Wapello; three daughters, Nancy Fisher and Shirley Higdon, both of Mediapolis, Susan Eisenmann, Sarasota, Fla.; three sons, Larry, John and Gary all of Mediapolis, 13 grandchildren; a brother, Elmer, Oakville; three sisters, Opal Hahn, Oakville, Doris Steele and Louise Vincent, both of Burlington. Services are pending at Fry Chapel, Mediapolis.
