Bernard E. Brockway Brockway, Bernard E. "Brock" Bay City, Michigan Mr. Brockway passed away Friday afternoon February 15, 2008 at his residence. Age 83 years. He was born April 7, 1924 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and has resided in Bay City since 1954. He was a former member of the St. Ignace Lions Club, retired as the accountant/office manager of Holloway Construction Company. He served with the United States Coast Guard during WWII in the Caribbean, he was an avid deer hunter and small game hunter. Bernard is survived by his wife the former Alice Oldinski whom he married on August 21, 1948, two sons and two daughters-in-law; Darrell and Pattie Brockway of Waterford, MI and Dale and Yoko Brockway of Auburn, Alabama and one grandson; David Brockway of Waterford, MI. He was predeceased by his parents; Charles and Lillian (Razey) Brockway and one brother; Harry Brockway. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Tuesday February 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. under the auspices of the Bay County Veterans Council with private interment in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Friends may at the funeral home Monday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Gephart Funeral Home Published in the Bay City Times on 2/17/2008.
