Could your Martha also be named Mary? According to the George Brockas' application re headrights and lands, he listed himself and then William Brockas, Clare Brockas, Susanna Brockas, Mary Brockas, Elizabeth Brockas, Ann Tompson, Clare Tompson, Anthony Webb, Mary Halsey, Andrew Stocker, james Hallowell, William James? Iams?, Dorothy Williams, Francis Julian, Thomas Lewin in 1667.They appear to have come from York Co.?, Va. since a Samuel and William Brokas witnessed a will in 1671 in Cecil Co., Md.and a Samuel and William Brokas are found in York Co., Va. in the 1640s. Your inquiry caught my attention because a Susanna Brockas or Brokas m 1. before 1691, a Garratt Morry and then 2.c. 1700, a Edward Veazey and had son John, b 12 Feb. 1701.Susanna was the daughter of William Brockas according to a later deed. There must be some kind of relationship between Susanna and Martha?
