Hello everyone, I am looking to see if any fellow Brockmeier researchers out there see a connection to the following Brockmeier family that lived in Jersey City, New Jersey in the early 1900s. The husband and wife included Frederick Brockmeier and Pauline Brockmeier (maiden name Wannemacher). The two Brockmeier children that I see from the census records include Frederick Brockmeier and Myrtle Brockmeier. Here are two census records that I found for the Brockmeier family: 1910 U.S. Census - Jersey City, New Jersey Address: 134 Thorne Street 1) Brockmeier, Frederick - 31 years old, clerk in pump company, born in NY, parents both born in New York 2) Brockmeier, Pauline - 33 years old, wife, born in New York, parents both born in New York 3) Brockmeier, Frederick G. - 8 years old, son, born in New Jersey, parents both born in New York 4) Brockmeier, Myrtle - 4 years old, daughter, born in New Jersey, parents both born in New York 5) Wannemacher, Charles - 58 years old, father-in-law, clerk in polishing company, born in New York, parents both born in Germany. 6) Wannemacher, Robert - 24 years old, brother-in-law, typewriter in kidglove company, born in New York, parents both born in New York The 1910 census indicates that Frederick and Pauline had been married for ten years, so it looks like they were married sometime in the year 1900. 1920 U.S. Census, Jersey City, New Jersey Address: 3270 Carlton Boulevard 1) Brockmeier, Frederick - 40 years old, treasurer of a pump company, born in New York, parents both born in New York 2) Brockmeier, Pauline - wife, 42 years old, born in New York, parents both born in New York 3) Brockmeier, Frederick - son, 18 years old, born in New Jersey, parents both born in New York 4) Brockmeier, Myrtle - daughter, 14 years old, born in New Jersey, parents both born in New York Below I am going to include some information on the Wannemacher family. I do have more information which I can provide on the Wannemacher family if requested. Jacob Wannemacher (born in Bavaria 1806/1807 - ?) and Barbara Adler (born in Bavaria about 1817 - ?) had a son named Charles Wannemacher (born in New York about April 1852 - ?).
