Joseph D Brockman was the oldest son of Aaron and Lydia (Porter) Brockman. Ebbin Porter (wife unknown) was her father. Samuel and Mary (Bell) Brockman was the parents of Aaron.
Joseph D Brockman was the eldest of 9 children. Joseph D was married 3 times. His first wife, and the mother of Joseph D is unknown. He married Elizabeth Sellers on 31 December 1826 and they had one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Brockman. Joseph married Isabella Shrewsbury on 2 August 1845 and they had two daughters, Cynthia and Josephine. Joseph died about 1868 in Scott County, Kentucky.
Charles G Brockman was born on the 28th of December 1820 in Harrison County, Kentucky and married Namcy J Cogswell about 1841. It appears that they were in Missouri where each of them died in Jackson County, Charles G on 24 January 1874 and Nancy on 2 August 1873.
This is not my direct line but I have collected information on many of the Brockman's.
