My ancestor is Elizabeth McGee md James Monroe Brockett. Your info states she and James were divorced. Could you share where you got this info? I have 5 children listed for them, then last Stephen douglas Brockett, b 18 Jun 1868 in Clay Co, IL. I found James, Sarah and son William in 1850 Effingham Co, IL census, then found James and Anna in the 1875 Butler Co, KS state census. I couldn't find him in the 1860 census, but their son, Abraham, was born Oct 1860 in Linn Co, KS. Any info would be very helpful.
