My grandmother was Mary Brockett, born 1860 in Goldsboro,NC. She had a cousin I think named Tommy(Thomas?), or at least everybody in the family called him cousin Tommy. I remember that he lived about a block from Ash St. near the bottom of the hill at Slocum St..My grandmother married Rufus Elijah Smith.Both are buried in Goldsboro in the old cemetary .I can't remember the name of the cemetary but is an old one.
