Brockett died 6/24/1890 at Topeka State Hospital by Carolyn of 573 Sarah Catherine Brockett was Sarah Gray (probably nee Duvall) when she and John Brockett both abandoned their Illinois spouses in 1860 and went west. They were living in Linn Co, KS, when she was sent to the Osawatomie Hospital in 1885. She and Brockett apparently had 6 children together, including twin boys named Black and White. Black also ended up in the insane asylum, where he committed suicide. These people are not ancestral to me, and I've not really researched them.
