Lisa, Sounds to me like you have a messed up compilation of info. Rudolph Brack migrated to America in 1733 into Philadelphia, PN. He lived for several yrs. in Lanscaster, Pa. before moving to Augusta Co., VA. His son, Georg Friedrich aka Fredrick moved at some point to Orange Co., NC where most of his sons were born. He eventually moved to Greenville Dist. SC where he died 1806-1807. Sons I can prove: Isaac, David, Loyd and Reuben. According to Clarence Brock there were other sons. Fredrick had a brother, George, that also had sons. But I believe you may be looking for descendants of David and Loyd. Loyd's son, David, married Isaac's daughter, Unicy. They moved to Dekalb Co., ALA. One son, Isaac b. 1805 died in China Springs, TX in 1909. They had a son, Loyd b. 1833, as well as 12 other children. Isaac was the f/o lots of children some of whom settled in Anderson, Oconee and Pickens Co. as well as Hart and Franklin Co., GA. Their descendants spread far and wide. My Reuben was about the only one whose descendants stayed close to Anderson Co. (We are the lazy branch of the family.) My line got about 35 miles before they tired out and settled down. I disagree with Clarence Brock about Reuben and Elizabeth having children older than James L. Brock b. 1878. Since they were married in 1777 when she was 16 yrs. old unless Reuben was married before I do not think that Major or Reuben Jr. are his children. I suspect that they are sons of some of the under researched sons of Fredrick's. With the exception of Reuben's son, William, the other children are well documented. I am afraid that too many believed Clarence when he stated that Reuben's Wm. had married Temperance Gay. Now through DNA that has been disproven and we have wasted valuable research time ignoring that line thinking Clarence was right. Hope this helps some. Please go back and review your sources and prove the work they've done. Obviously there are a lot of errors in it. Work backward's from what you can prove. Martha Brock b. 1850/51 should not be that hard to find then. Good luck, Susan Notify Administrator about this message?
