THE WILL OF GEORGE BROCK

SoCarolina Union Dist.
I George Brock being weak and feeble of Body, but of sound mind perfectly free from any restraint and deliberates, knowing that life is uncertain and wishing to arrange my affairs that I may depart in peace do this day make this my last Will and Testament
1st My Soul to god who gave it my body to be intered decently
2nd. My property I wish to remain together untill all my debts and contracts are settled, which I wish done as soon as possible
3thd I give and bequeath Tolly Brown and her Children James Noton, Joseph, George, William, Mary, sarah Ann Edward, Henry All to whomb I give and bequeth equally the following property One Negro Man name Paul one named Rubin and one Luis one named Edmond one negro woman named Agg one named Anne, Also all my lands consisting 2 tract one on which I now live one Tract on which my sally Bess lives, adjoing land of Namen Coleman, Moses Mardes All which property for the use of Tolly Brown And in raising her Children Above named, untill they come of age
4th As each child comes of age for the same to receive thur equal part of sd property which is one ninth part. And for them to receive it at valuation and so on in succession as they may become of age and then the sd Tolly to have her equal part being one Ninth her life time and at her death for it to be divided equally between her Eight Chi9ldren above named
5 I furthermore give and bequeath to my Brother J. W. Brocks child named George the remainder of my property, Consisting of one tract of Land on which the sd J. W. Brock now lives one Negro Man named sam and all the Stock And property that is on the place and in his possession all which I give and bequeth to the sd George the sd J.B. Bs son
6 I do also nominate and apoint H D Danlow to be my executor to execute this My last will and testament as above directed --

This done on the ninth of March and Anno Domin one thousand eight Hundred and thirty in the Presents of
