The Brushey's in Powassan, Ontario are still alive & well. I have just this evening come across this Brochu geneology forum and so yhought I had better contribute something. I will once again get my Dad (who is now 86, only son of Wilmer Brushey) to write down information. He is in very good health & still driving.I think I have given you some information on our family, but I will do so once again:
I have one older brother, John Joseph Brushey
living in Etobicoke, Ontario. He has one daughter Julianne, Mriied to Paul Topp. They reside in Toronto. John has also one son, David Brushey who now lives with his wife Robin in Kingston, Ontario.
Next in our family is myself, Robert Peter, born Jan 22/45.My wife & I have two children: Diana Joy and one son Michael Peter.
Next is my sister Margaret Jane who is married to Geoffrey Martin. they live in Mississauga, Ontario with their three children Jennifer, Samantha & Alexandra
Next is my sister Marilyn Elizabeth. She and her husband David Stone have two children Graham and Timothy and they live in Charlotte, N.Carolina.
Next is my brother James Wilmer. He & his wife Susan have two children, son Paul and and daughter Janna and they live in Parry Sound, Ontario
Next is my brother Stephen George. He and his wife Peggy have 4 children: Chad, Megan, Emily & Laura and they live in Piitsburgh, Pennsylvania.
I'll get back to this website again soon.
