I am a Brochu too and am trying to find my ancestors in Quebec.

Here is what I know.
My gr-grandfather is Ovila Brochu (born 1876) in St.Charles Providence, Qeubec. In 1899, he married Marie Asselin, born 1878 also in St. Charles Providence. They had three kids: ARthur Joseph Brochu, Marie Blanche Brochu Boucher and Angeline Brochu Morin. These three kids were born in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Reportedly, Ovila's parents were George Brochu who married Virginia Asselin. George and Virginia had 3 known children: Ovila, (above, born 1876), Joseph O. or Joseph C, born 1883 and Marie Brochu.

George's father was Michael Brochu..and that's all I know.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
