Hi,
I am seeking information about Peter Broadwater & Lovina Taylor's child Edmund Broadwater who was born approx. 1850. I need to rule out whether he is the same Edmund from whom I am descended.
I am a descendant of a certain Edmund Broadwater who was born approx. 1850 according to Georgia census records. This Edmund Broadwater was my great-grandfather. He was married to a woman by the name of Alice and they had many children, one of whom was my grandfather. There are a number of inconsistencies I found according to data published in census records on my great-grandfather and I would like to try to clear up as many as I can.
Published information on Peter & Lovina's Edmund is scanty even after having read excerpts from Bittinger's book, "A Broadwater Family History". That book is unfortunately out-of-print so I don't know if additional information on that Edmund is available. I am hoping that someone can help me determine whether he is the same Edmund Broadwater.
Also, if anyone out there who is related to my clan (Edmund Broadwater and Alice Broadwater) and if you have knowledge of the name of Edmund's mother or father, please let me know as that would answer the question definitively as well. Please respond privately to my private email address.
