I am asking for your help to get over a major bump in the road. Your time, and help are greatly appreciated.
Charles Franklin BROADWATER, b. 29 Dec 1858, Allegany Co, MD (now Garrett Co). Charles married twice, first to DUCKWORTH??? Second to Estella Frances "Stella" HANLAN, b. Sep 1879, WV.
In 1900... lived next door to Jesse Warnick. Charles Franklin is married to 2nd wife, Stella, they have their son, Lee.
The four children of his first wife are living down the road with Catherine J. Ross, born, Jul 1830, Maryland, said to be single, in 1910 she would be said to be a widow, the children are listed as her grandchildren. There is also John L. Miller, born Dec 1865, single, said to be her nephew in household.
Charles' oldest daughter from his first marriage, Alda Catharine BROADWATER, b. 23 May 1887, Garrett Co, MD, married, John Adam GREEN, b. 1875-1879, Garrett Co, MD.
(1) Who are the parents of Alda Catharine BROADWATER's husband John Adam GREEN, and any information pertaining to him?
(2) If this Catharine J. ROSS is the grandmother of Alda Catharine BROADWATER, who was Alda's mother, and how does the surname DUCKWORTH enter in? Who were Alda's parents?
Any information to help clear up my confusion pertaining to this family is most appreciated.
