My Grandfather is Thomas Jefferson Broadwater, Jr., born July 4, 1927. He lived in Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia all of his life and was buried there as well when he died in the 1980's. His wife is Margaret Mary Lee Deas, born August 15, 1929, in Augusta, Georgia. She is the daughter oF Marion "Frank" Deas and Mamie Johnson.
I have that Thomas J. Broadwater is the son of Thomas J. Broadwater, Sr. and Pauline Waddell Creech. I have very little other information. This is information that has been passed down orally over the years. I know that the elder Thomas J. spent some time in an orphanage and helped to build the big bridge that connects sections of Charleston, SC.
