I have no definite information about siblings or parents of Cornelius BROADWATER (d 1804, probably in Loudoun County, VA).

A prominent surveyor of northern Virginia through the last half of the 1700s was one Guy Broadwater. Guy Broadwater and Cornelius Broadwater were of about the same generation. While my Cornelius named a son Guy Broadwater, I have nothing concrete to establish a connection between Cornelius and the surveyor.

One of the leading families of Fairfax County, Virginia through the latter 3/4 of the 1700s was headed by a series of fathers and sons all named Charles Broadwater. A monument to this Broadwater family today is at the center of Vienna, Virginia. Fairfax County adjoins Loudoun County where Cornelius lived. My Cornelius named a son Charles Broadwater, but, again, I have nothing concrete to establish a connection.

Any help would be much appreciated.
