Broadwater, Charles L, and Englishman, came to America a short time before the start of the Revoluntionary War. When it began he joined the US Army. He married Betheler Sebastian & they had 3 children: GEORGE, WILLIAM E, & ANNA M BROADWATER.
GEORGE BROADWATER married CATHERINE GUNNEL & they had 7 children: ANN M, HENRY, ARTHUR, JOHN CH, ELIZABETH, THOMAS, & GEORGE JR. All but ARTHUR settled in MO.
WILLIAM E. BROADWATER married MARGARET DARNE and they had 3 children: Names not given
After WILLIAM died they came to MO with their mother & settled at Callaway Co, 1833
