I am doing genealogy research on my family tree and I am at a brickwall and need help.
1. My great-grandfather name was Lazarus BROADNAX (born 1867), who was married to Martha Ann Aikens. He MIGHT had been married first to Christina, whose father was named Joe BROADNAX.
2. Lazarus BROADNAX married Martha Ann Aikens around 1907 time frame, when he was approximately 40 years of age, and she was 22 years old. I have documentation to verify this. They had my grandfather, Thomas Coleman BROADNAX (who is deceased).
3. I also have a birth certificate listing another Lazarus BROADNAX, born 1920. His parents listed on the birth certificate are Lazarus BROADNAX and Martha Ann Aikens. I am assuming he is kin.
4. Also, my great-great grandfather was named Lazarus BROADNAX, who married Lucy BROADNAX (maiden name not known). NC/VA area. I have documentation to verify this.
However, I cannot get any more information to get beyond my great-great grandfather.
Any information concerning the BROADNAXES above will be appreciated.
