Information verified on Lazarus BROADNAX

1. My great-great-grandfather was named Lazarus Broadnax, born approximately 1838, according to the 1870 NC census. He was married to Lucy Broadnax, born around 1845 (her maiden named unknown).

They had my great grandfather also named Lazarus, born 1867.
At the time of the 1870 NC census, my great grandfather's siblings listed were: Irene--age7, and Nancy--age2.

2. My great grandfather, named Lazarus, born 1867, and was married to a woman named Christina. She was born around 1877. They were married 1893.
Christina's father listed on the marriage certificate was Joe Broadnax and her mother, Clara or Gloria? Broadnax.

According to the 1900 NC census, the children born to Lazarus and Christina were: Lessie A. and Lucy(daughters), and a son named Jessie L.

3. My great grandfather married again in 1907, to my great grandmother named Martha Ann Aiken(s), born around 1885.

They gave birth to my grandfather, Thomas Broadnax, who is deceased (1908-1994/5).
Some of his sisters and brothers were: Rebecca, Kate, Irene, John, Samuel, Joseph, Jessie, Lessie, Edward, and Lazarus.
