Further to my previous post: Wright Cooper Broadbent was the son of Daniel Broadbent and Matilda Cooper, born 26 December 1877 in Hattersley, Cheshire, England which is in the Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire registration district. He had two sisters, Sarah and Matilda. Sarah died at 15 and Matilda died as an infant. Wright's mother died in 1885 and his father in 1892. Wright emigrated to St John, New Brunswick, Canada in 1898. In the 1901 Canadian census he can be found living with his aunt and uncle: John Henry Walker and Ann Newton Walker and his cousin Theron Newton Walker. John Walker ran a grocery business.
Wright returned to England at some point and married Mary Hargreaves, daughter of John Hargreaves and Ruth Garlick in the June quarter of 1906 in Hadfield, Derbyshire. It appears they returned immediately to Canada and their daughter Ann Broadbent was born in 1907. Ann Broadbent married someone Fowler in Canada before 1935.
If anyone has any further information on this family, I would be pleased to know.
