I went back through my notes today, am working on my Britton side of the family. You may(and I'm not 100% sure), have Francis Britton and Francis Britton, Jr. mixed up. Francis Britton(whose actual name was Francois Bretaigne) came to Charleston from Liverpool was granted 200 acres, and settled on the East side of the Colleton River in Colleton County just below Charleston. In 1727, he moved to Berklely Co., just north of Charleston, on Seewee Bay(now named Bull's Bay) in Christ Church Parish, where he is buried. Francis Britton's wife was named Elizabeth, and she was probably the daughter of Joseph Sealy. She might have been his second wife, and not the mother of all his children. There were definitely 2 daughters, Sarah and Mary, and two sons, John and Francis, Jr. Britton's Neck is north of Seewee Bay on the banks of The Big and Little PeeDee Rivers. It was settled by Francis Britton, Jr. who married an Ann(Hyme or Hyrne). He was born ABT 1703 in Williamsburg District, SC., and died MAR 24, 1768 in Britton's Neck, Marion CO., SC. She was born ABT 1707 In Cape Fear, Hanover, NC, and died in 1776 in same place. They were married ABT 1840 at Hymeham(Hyrneham) plantation in Cape Fear, NC. Unfortunatedly, the only child I have listed for them is in my direct lineage, a Captain Henry Britton who married an Elizabeth Green Goddard. I have a copy of Stephen Britton's will, which in on line at the USGen Web Project under Marion County. It mentions his nephews in the will, which might help you. What I have written you is documented, the part about Francis Britton(actually Francois Bretaigne) was contributed by a John Bellah, March 22, 2007 on Ancestry.com
