Imogene Britton Walsh, 91, Johnson City, Washington Co TN,
passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009, at the Appalachian
Christian Village.
Mrs. Walsh was a native of Washington County and daughter
of the late Harold and Margaret Slemons. In addition to
her parents, Mrs. Walsh was also preceded in death by her
husband, James A. 'Bill' Walsh.
She was a member of Jonesborough Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Lew
Weems, Knoxville, TN; son and daughter-in-law, James Allen
and Nancy Walsh, Jonesborough, TN; daughter and son-in-law,
Sara and Jack France, Johnson City, TN; grandchildren,
Rick Weems, Tom Weems, Leslie Buckner, Lauren France,
Jameson France, Bill Walsh and Alison Jones; sister,
Jeanette Hinman, OH; and several great-grandchildren,
nephews and nieces.
Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m., Saturday,
May 2, 2009, at Maple Lawn Cemetery with Dr. Conrad Crow
officiating. Pallbearers will be sons-in-law and grandsons.
