The Britton DNA Project is looking for descendants of James Britton bc 1709 and wife Mary Witty, who lived in Orange Co. VA (later Frederick Co) until 1754 when the family moved to NC. We are especially interested in finding Britton men who may be willing to participate in a DNA project and share genealogical information. Several members of this family have already been tested and have formed a research group for this line.
