I have a little more on Roland Bevans b- 1Jul 1789, Maryland m-Nancy Mahoney b-1799, Kentucky. The Dryden Collection has that Roland was son of William Brittingham and was orphaned by age of 13. See Worcester Orphans Court Proceedings 1802/4:6 August Court. Roland was apprenticed out to James Dennis to learn to make good common shoes. He is listed on 1810 Worcester Co. census and then on 1850 and 1860 censuses in Brown Co., Ohio. out of room see #2
