FYI, below, is my Brittingham line:
FIRST GENERATION
2. Josiah Robins was born in 1720. He died in 1785 in Worcester Co., MD.
Date of birth approximate (1720). Married to Mary
Brittingham before 1774 in MD.
3. Mary Brittingham was born about 1740 in Somerset Co., MD. 1st husband
- Joseph Nicolson, D. 1771- One child, Matthias (William Brittingham
Jr., and Descendents, Lesie P. Dryden Collection, Delmarva Research
Ctr, FF#236. P11)
SECOND GENERATION
6. Solomon Brittingham was born in Somerset (Worcester) Co., MD, about
1712. He died in Worcester Co., Md., before 17 Apr., 1772. He was
buried in Worcester Co., Md..
7. Mary Ennis died in 1784 in Worcester Co., MD. She was born in
Worcester Co., Md., before 1746. She was buried in Worcester Co., MD.
THIRD GENERATION
12. William Brittingham Jr. died in 1749 in Worcester Co., Md.. He was
born in Somerset Co., MD, about 1682. Will probated Nov 27, 1749.
Left to son Solomon all of Beckford on east side of main seaside road.
Wm Purchased 300 a Beckford and 50a Aarons Lot in Worcester Co., on 11
May 1713 from Aaron Bishop and wife Abigail. (Som.Deeds 10:879).
13. Frances Poynter was born in before 1684. She died after 1749.
FOURTH GENERATION
24. William Brittingham Sr. died in Somerset Co., Md., 1709. Death
mentioned in Brittingham Manuscript. See also related deeds: 10:704,
10:692
