I have some information that could be beneficial to you. I'm reading an obituary from the Franklin Repository for one William Britton esq. who died in his son's home in Upper Strasberg, PA in 1877 at 83 years of age (born in Ireland, County of Leitrim, and Townland of Parke, 23 June, 1795). He was twice married: once to Catherine Over in 1826, and a second time to Maria Widener after the death of his first wife. The son's name in whose house he died was also William Britton.
