Hi there,
have had a look through my data and they don't match at this stage, but there could be a family connection in there somewhere!!!!
i have a mary anne whose b'date i'm not sure about. she has brothers and sisters born between 1834 - 1848 but in HULL nor Newcastle T. her father was DEAN BRITTAIN borm 1808 Hull. this dean had a son called george b. 1842 who was a joiner.
my George Brittain b. 1806 i know nothing about him. his father was a george and married an elizabeth marshall both born in the 1770's yorkshire.
if you have any other questions or want more information please write back, i'd love to help if i can.
if you have any other information i'd love to have a look.
most of my Northumberland side come from a Dean brittain and margaret reid who moved there in about 1860??? ish.
family ledgend says that that they came from northumberland originally but i can't prove that yet.
good luck with your research
Sarah
