I am very happy to see that we finally have a
BRITNELL forum.
I descended from Christopher BRETNELL (BRITNELL) born Princes Risborough 1568.
In October of 99 I visited England for a month to do some research and have a photograph of St Mary's the church that Christopher was baptized in.
My travels took me to St Andrew's in Chinnor where I photographed the church and the churchyard where he was married to Anna Bennet born Princes Risborough 1572 and also buried there along with his son Bennet who died at age 40yrs leaving his third wife Frances TOOVYE to raise his children.
I spent time also travelling the other counties photographing other churches where our ancestors affiliated themselves with.
It was a great trip but not long enough.
I am making plans for my return to meet more of my distant cousins and learn more about our BRITNELL family.

This family moved to Cleveland Ohio where George worked at the FORD MOTOR COMPANY.
All three of his children married and are reported living in Brunswick Ohio US
Phillip BRITNELL left England to go to Australia, then onto Conneticut US. In Sept of 1919 he fell from a window and died.
Any information on the above individuals would be greatfully received.
