Hi Allen.
Just back from a trip to the Shelby Co., Ky. courthouse.
I have to search both Largent and Sargent because of the cursive similarity of the cursive L and S in old documents.
Ran across a Deed Record that gives the info that one Abel M. Sarjent had married one Widow Sarah Bristow and was therefore authorized by Law to sell Sarah's 30 Acres to Samuel Miles Junior.
Sarah's land joined at one corner to a Benjamin Miles.
Sale was on 25 Feb. 1824.
Deed Book "T" pages 291-292.
Thought someone might appreciate the info.
