Thank you so much for the information.
My thought was,if the Court Order
was for three years and after
that time 1779-1782, George
Bristoe Jr. and Sarah Guess married,
in 1782,in 1779 both of them, may have been underage (if age was even a
consideration for Marriage, at the time??) the lawsuit may have been brought by Sarahs Guess's parents, it was just a thought.
Maybe I can learn more by writing
Granville Co.NC.
