He was married to Mary Jane (VOYLES) Briscoe born 1/25/02 died 5/12/1980 she was from Hunt Co, Commerce, Texas. They lived in Commerce, Texas. They had the following children; Naomi Vivian (CAGLE) Briscoe, Elsie Laverne Briscoe and Robert Briscoe, all from Fresno, CA.
