I am also looking for Briscoe's of Leominster Ma Looking for my greatgrandmother Ethel Briscoe she was said to have been born in Leominster, her father died in a train wreck when she was around 3 years of age(?) her father she said was buried in Leominster. Ethel parents where Native American Indain from Maine. Is what i can remember being told as a kid. Her mother remarried a Brooks and Ethel's half brother moved to a reservation some where in Maine. My father remembers Ethel going to visit relatives in Maine. Ethel died in 1969 at age we think around 83 years old. Have you come accross any Ethel's in your reshearch?
On a Leominster web site I did find these Briscoe's
Dorothy Muriel daughter of William D. and Geneva Briscoe born April 12, 1908
Briscoe Herbert E and Alice E Stales both of Leominster married Sept 22, 1891
Aurther E Briscoe Died May 22, 1897 age 26years, 10months, 14 days, died elsewhere burried in Leominster
Herbert E Briscoe died oct 14, 1892 age 23 years, 9 months, 17 days
How are you related to Aurther?
