Hello, I am a descendant of Dr. John Briscoe through Philip Briscoe and Chloe Hanson 's line. Judge Hanson Briscoe (the younger brother of Dr. John Hanson Briscoe, the first U.S. Surgeon General) was their son. Sarah Story Briscoe, their grandaughter, married Edward Otho Cresap and moved to Eddyville, KY in 1816. If you have any info on Briscoe heritage, let me know....thanks!
