Would like to discuss the Descendants & Ancestors of Parmanus & Nancy (Briscoe) Briscoe. Carolmit@usaor.net
Parmanus Briscoe b. 1 May 1749 Berkley Co., VA son of Dr. John & Elizabeth Harrison (McMIllian) Briscoe m. Nancy "Anna" Briscoe b. 5 Feb 1760, Frederick Co., MD d. bef 1801. Dau. of Gerard & Ruth (McMillian) Briscoe. Children: I have more children than this for Nancy, which may not be hers. Help!
Court Case in part states:
Robert Briscoe's son Gerrard departed this life, intestate, leaving Margaret Briscoe, his widow (to whom administration of the goods & chattels hath been granted) Polly one of his daughters married to Archibald Baldwin, Eleanor another daughter married to Hugh Holmes, and Ruth Crist (formerly Ruth Briscoe) Henrietta Briscoe, Maryann Briscoe, Francis Briscoe, Matthew Briscoe & Robert Briscoe, all of whom (except Ruth Crist who hath intermarried with a certain Nicholas Crist) are infants under the age of twenty one years and are all the children & legal representatives of Nancy Briscoe deceased who was a mother of the said Gerrards' daughters who had intermarried with a certain { blank in document} Briscoe
