Was one of Sarah Cagle Briscoe's descendants an Albert W. Briscoe. He most likely resided in or about Howard County, Arkansas.
I believe that my GGG grandmother Martha "Patsy" Cagle born about 1831, wife of Richard James Rivers was the elder sister to your Sarah.
There is some family history of a Briscoe connection but I am just starting to put the pieces together. Another cousin has sent me a copy of a card for Albert Briscoe's campaign as a candidate for the Legislature. Above Albert's name is written "my cousin". It was enclosed in a letter from John Lindsay Rivers (son of Martha Patsy Cagle Rivers and Richard James Rivers) to Charles Alva Lipscomb of Morgan County, Alabama, his cousin.
Hope this is not too confusing but things are just starting to pull together.
Any and all help would be appreciated.
