I am looking for information on Judge Hanson Brisoce and wife, Mary Anapola Jordan of Cumberland, MD ( circa 1790's). Hnason Brisoce was the son of Philip Briscoe and Chloe Hanson and was a nephew of John Hanson. Their daughter, Sarah Story Briscoe, married Edward Otho Cresap (of prominent Cresap family in MD). She moved to Kentucky where her children married into the Mims, Machens, Cobbs abd Lyon families in Caldwell/Lyon Counties. I am a descendant of Sarah Briscoe through her daughter, Caroline Hanson Cresap (who married Col. John H. Mims). If you have any copy of portraits of Briscoe ancestors or any info on the Briscoe family of MD. Thanks
