My father was REUBEN STROZIER BRISCOE, b. 1905, Franklin Co GA; his father was L. EDWIN BRISCOE, b. 1882, Franklin Co GA; his father was JOHN T. BRISCOE, b. 1851 in Macison Co GA; his father was LUCIOUS M. BRISCOE, b 1829 but I don't know where. I am looking for his father. I believe Briscoe is an Irish name; however, my last 3 grandmothers on my father's side were German; i.e., Risner, Reese, and Strozier. I will be glad to share detailed info.
