Hi Michael. Ignore the Lawson connection, as it's
at least one generation too soon for whatever
connection we might have. I'm really stuck at
Thomas Briscoe, born ca 1796 supposedly at Bebbington,
Cheshire according to his census entries in Liverpool
1851, 1861, 1871. His wife's name was Ann but
I can't find her either, other than according to
the 1851 census she was born at Ulverston. I've just
been looking at Ulverston BT entries to see if I
can find her. There's Briscoes there too!. No
real progess so far. Thanks for corresponding.
Maybe there's some people out there who know?
Cheers,
Eric Gelling in Victoria BC
