Hi Michael. My 2xg-grandmother was Ann Mary BRISCOE
who married William LAWSON, a French Polisher, in
1854 in Liverpool. Most of her census entries indicated she was
born in Birkenhead, although I found a baptism for
her in 1827 in Liverpool. Her father was Thomas
BRISCOE (mother Ann, last name unknown), a shipbuilder
(ca 1796-1873). According to the census, he was
born in Bebbington, Cheshire. Does this connect
with yours?
