In Reply to: (Irish History) anywhere from 1300's to1800's by John Briscoe of 1417

My father, James Briscoe, of Geashill, Co.Offaly(Kingscounty) had an uncle Patrick born 1874. He married a Christina around 1912. That is all I know, from his British Military Records. He had a daughter called Aphra, named after his mother and a son called Hubert. His father's name was called Patrick and he had a brother called John and another called Arthur(my grandfather). This Patrick Briscoe 1874-1959? grew up at Brookfield, Tulamore. He Joined the British army in 1892 and left in 3/10/1911. He rejoined in 1917. After this I have no knowledge.
