Rob, at this point in my research, I think John was connected to the Isaac Briscoe family and they all went to Missouri from Hancock County, Tennessee, about the same time in 1830. I think they in turn were connected with the Thomas and James W. Briscoe families that went to Alabama about the same time the other families moved to Missouri. Probably all born in Virginia after their common father, Thomas, moved there from North Carolina.
Would like to exchange information.
