Briscoe DNA Project

Has a BRISCOE DNA Project started?? I understand only males with surname BRISCOE can participate as the male DNA remains pretty stable over time/generations. If a project is underway, I would appreciate information even if I can't participate. If one has not started, perhaps someone with interest and computer skills would consider being the BRISCOE DNA Project Coordinator. Information on such DNA project is found at familytreedna.com .

DNA is perhaps the newest tool for proving/disproving family connections/ancestry; however, it would be up to male BRISCOE's to participate and build a DNA database with Briscoe family information before it would be effective. There is a cost involved to participate, but I bet most of us have spent way more in travel, postage, phonecalls, etc (let alone frustration). It might be that some of these notorious BRISCOE brickwalls can come down in time with information gotten from DNA.

Something to think about.
