Hi,
My 4th Great Grandfather, James BRISCOE (b.circa 1813 Ireland)
sailed with his wife & kids on the "WILLIAM JARVIS" boat.
They left from Liverpool,England in April of 1849 to NY, USA.
This is their ship log's information :
James 36 Laborer
wife, Mary 33 Dressmaker
daughter, Mary 4
daughter, Catherine 2
James' daughter Mary married Emery PERRY and lived in Ohio.
I descend from their son, James Thomas PERRY of Athens CO.,OH.
I have not been able to locate any other data on this BRISCOE
family. I have noticed the daughter Mary spelling her maidename
in records also as Briscol and Bristol.
