I believe my family may be connected, but I'm not sure exactly how. A daughter of Samuel Mason Sr. (Natchez trace bandit) married a PHilip or Philomen Briscoe and lived near Port Gibson (Claiborne/Warren Co.) Mississippi. I think Samuel's wife, Roseanna Dorsey Mason, lived with them in Mississippi until she died. The daughter's name may have been Elizabeth; she may have died around 1815. Briscoes were related to my Mason ancesters as they moved out from Mississippi to Texas, settling in Fort Bend area in 1840s.
Any information would be appreciated.
